First Chop Beers are now available gluten free
Thanks to an innovative brewing method, First Chop’s gluten-free beers are indistinguishable from the rest of First Chop’s award-winning range. We use floor-malted barley and the finest hops for the beers and each is made in small batches, with unwavering attention to detail.
The gluten is de natured in the last ferment – with nothing removed, so the excellent flavour that we’re known for remains. You can spot which of First Chop’s beers are gluten-free as the range is certified gluten-free by Coeliac UK and carries the Crossed Grain symbol.
Look out for five of First Chop’s best-selling beers – plus a new one called The Chop (Single hop, Pale Amber, 3.9%) – in gluten free options, each endorsed by Coeliac UK. We have taste-tested our new beers on 100 drinkers – and 100% were unable to taste the difference from our regular beers. Each batch is registered with the Coeliac UK and are included in their web page along with stockists. This page is the first stop for anyone wishing to go gluten free.
First Chop beers available as gluten free now include: HOP (US hops, Ultra Pale 4.1%), FCB (US Hopped Pale 3.6%), DOC (NZ hops, Ultra Pale 4.1%), AVA (Hoppy Blonde 3.5%), Extra Love (Mango Pale 4%). Plus new one THE CHOP (One hop, Pale Amber 3.9%)
Customers can order gluten free bottled beers through online beer shop, Eebria (www.eebria.com) and Best of British Beer (0845 475 8332, www.bestofbritishbeer.co.uk). The beer is also available in pubs and bars across the UK. See our STOCKIST page for full listings.
